1.1 bigger cards, more cards


changes made in 1.1

  • increased time on all cards
  • added the first change cards (take cover, command, ricochet)
  • increased the size of cards to make them easier to read
  • added more elements to increase visuals 
  • Player has access to new cards, enemies use only old cards (this is more for balance than anything, the cards work for AI but significant improvements need to be made for them to play them correctly)

planned features for 1.2

  • tutorial (a screen showing card information and basic how to play)
  • target cards (cards that let the player choose a specific enemy to hit)
  • status cards (cards that temporarily increase character stats like refresh time, health, luck)
  • damage numbers (the amount of damage 'pops' from the character it hit)

  • more art assets (new character sprites, UI art assets, new type font)
  • more cards (melee cards, more inter card interaction, specialized decks for characters)
